First Kill Worth Talking about (Cobra)

There I was MMOB, well sort of...I had just gotten off work, and decided to get on it a bit while merging on to the Freeway. Once I hit cruising speed I noticed a black '03ish mustang pacing me.
It was not for about 5 or so miles when traffic cleared enough for him to get beside me. To my pleasant surprise, this mustang was a Cobra, SVT badges, aftermarket exhaust and personal plates.
I just happened to be cruising at 75mph in 4th gear, just in case. The mid-50's gentleman pulled beside me, glanced in his rear view and HIT IT...
I was ready! He may have jumped a 1/4 car length, but that soon changed and I was now dead even pulling ever so slightly. By the time the RPM's were in the lower 6k's I had a fender on him, and we had to shut down to traffic ahead. The Goat was pulling and running like a raped ape.
Once we got back to crusing speed, the gentleman slowly passed by grinning ear to ear, and we exchanged thumbs ups!:gears:
I was very pleased the way the car was running, probably due to the nice cool weather we are having!

Is this pretty common against what seemed to be a stock Cobra?
