I'm still tweaking the tune, but I got some dyno numbers today on a dynojet.

439.48 rwhp SAE

400.77 rwtq SAE

1.27 HP / CID
1.16 TQ / CID

Conditions: 94.42*F, 24.45 in-Hg, humidity 4%, SAE correction 1.26

Once I get my tune squared away shouldn't have a problem getting over 440rwhp. Quite happy with over 400rwtq out of my N/A 346 LS1. I'm running 19 to 23* total advance 4400+ on 91 octane with 10% ethonal (mile high gas)

The basics for this LS1 with 6,600 miles

AFR-205 heads milled down .016 to 62cc
Cometic .040 head gaskets
10.9:1 SCR
Flowtech StreetSweeper camshaft
7.400 pushrods
FAST 90mm intake
Holley 90mm TB
ASP U/D pulley
Kooks 1 3/4 LT headers with cats
SW dual 3" turbo exhaust (2.5" core "quiet" mufflers)
90mm/4" intake tube and 2005 LPE filter/pannel
Speed Density tune
Tex clutch

Coming soon:

Ported FAST 90 intake
3" core higher flow SW mufflers
Might try without cats
Tune
Pushrod length and lifter preload check

You have a very similar setup to what I have from Ed at Flowtech. My flowtech cam is a 228/232 .614 .600 112 lsa on an ls2 but your peripherals, with the exception of the heads (running AFR 225's milled) and no cats, are practically identical. Mine is an auto with a 3200 vig stall so that fudges the dyno but I have been VERY happy with my flowtech setup. Ed is the man.

I am running shorter chromoly pushrods than you are though..7.375"

Yes, I'm very happy with Ed's cam - this is # 2 for me. The 216/220 he made me resulted in the same power as a 224/228 :)

hmm that cam sounds familiar kinda like what i might have in my 402 LS2.

Pending funds over the next year or so, I may try this setup with a 402 shortblock from one of the vendors. While Ed might cut a slightly better cam for a 402, I think this still would do well.

At first I was wondering if it was too much cam for me, but since I've been working on the tune, I'm enjoying it much more and I'm quite fond of it now. :D

Excellent numbers. Very similar to what Ed's cam is producing for me. You have a M6 correct? I'm interested in seeing what porting the Fast intake does for you.

actually if the specs are the same this cam works great in my 402 i made 485rwhp and 475 rwtq and it drives like a camp no surge no nothing and it carries a great torque curve.

Yes, 6 speed manual M12 with Texarlia billet steel flywheel clutch.

Nice - would you mind posting up or sending me that Dynojet DRF file if you have one? I'd love to compare it to my setup.

Thanks - Nick was talking about your car cause we were talking about the highest # 04+ GTOs in town. He was impressed with your results.
