OK. Just got done installing my Ultra Lite guages one of which is fuel pressure. I have the sensor mounted off the crossover on my FAST fuel rails. My guage is reading 64 PSI. For an LS2, does that sound right? from what I've read here, it should be at 58 PSI. Just curious.......

I've seen 60PSI but not for very long.

Do me a favor and turn on your AC and Headlights and let me know how for it dips down.

Will do...As soon as I get the car back from the Cam/Stall install...........

Do you suspect a voltage issue related to the high reading?

No, I have a reduction that I haven’t seen spoken about before.

I go from 58 all the way down to 48 with everything on at idle. Watching the voltage out back shows 14.4 at startup and once everything is running it drops down to 13.1.

I was just wondering if more then my car does this.

You can turn the fans on and off and the PSI on the gauge bounces up and down 5PSI LOL.

Is placement of the gauge on the crossover pretty standard?

Being that the crossover is a smaller diam than the rail might account for the slightly high readings...

Some fluctuation in voltage @ the pump (as accessories are turned on/off) is normal and could also account for sending pressure variations...5-10 psi is quite a swing though.

Anyone?
