Doing a little maintenance / upgrades on my wiring. I pulled the ring terminal off the fuse box and noticed it there was a washer behind the terminal touching the fuse panel. It went in this order Fuse Panel -> Washer on post-> Ring Terminal on post -> nut on post.

Is that washer supposed to be there ?

Pretty sure the stock nut should be a spinning washer type. So if it isn’t, you’d want the washer under the nut obviously.

Yes it is that type of nut with a pattern on the bottom for a little bite. I’ll remove the flat round washer
