Bitch....thanks for rubbin' it in.
I'm going through a dealer in Wisconsin. My very good college buddy owns the store. Mine is the only one that he was allocated.READYtoROCK said:Hey Chotton, what dealer are you going though? I am surprised they are participating in the GMS pricing for the new GTO.
I am seriously considering getting one in Yellow Jacket (I would pinstripe it red) when my lease expires and I live in Macomb, Mi.

I'm sure my dealer isn't going to believe me when I tell him "trust me the gms price is $29,595" but if I can print something out for him he'll have to. He already told me if there was a GMS he'd honor it.
I have been buying using GMS for 25 years and have bought 7 or 8 cars and trucks. What they tell me is GMC allows you to purchase at the GMS pricing but its the dealers option to sell the vehicle at what ever pricing he wants to. The first couple of Pontiac dealers I saw said "no way" we are getting to few of the GTO's to sell it at GMS pricing, and a couple wanted above the sticker. But I did buy my GTO at GMS, so there are some of the dealers that will allow it.debong said:But, if I'm entitled to GMS because my dad works for GM, the dealer cannot decide to not give me GMS pricing. It's strictly based on whether or not GM decides to allow GMS. For example, GM sometimes does not allow GMS for Corvettes. So, my question is not if the dealer wants to give you GMS but if GM policy is for GMS to be applicable on the GTO. (this is my understanding of GMS anyway)
Am I wrong? Can someone clarify for me?![]()
The dealer knows there is GMS, Its on the invoice....it has sticker price then GM employee price....then GM supplier price.chotton said:Your dealer can now pull it up on his computer system. If he says he can't then do this..:slap:
I bought mine back in January and fortunately got the GMS price, however the dealership tried to make me feel like they were doing me a favor doing so telling me "that people were willing to pay above invoice". Now they have about 9 sitting stale on their lot. An example of where greedy dealers may be somewhat to blame for poor sales. I friend of mine in North Carolina, that is also eligible for GMS, was told by a dealership down there that they would not give it to him, too much demand.04 LS1-MAN said:I have been buying using GMS for 25 years and have bought 7 or 8 cars and trucks.
