Hello back, myredgto you might remember me from a month ago where you saw me on the road by the courthouse in Manasssas. I was away on vacation where I missed my GTO (more than my girlfriend, but don't tell her that :)) but now I'm back.
I wanted to share a video I made yesterday, this was down by the old dominion raceway, where I practiced the art of going sideways. When that track is empty (however the strip is only 1/8 mile), anyone can go in and play around without risking getting tickets or worse, hurting someone else.
As for the drifting, I wish I had put armor all in my rear tires, and I want to fix the understeer somehow in the future.
Enjoy the movie :)

Hey,

Look's like Your having fun. So Your saying we could have a meet there and be able to drive like that with the track's permission. If so what is the cost to be able to use that area just for us?

Oh, and I didnt catch your name as we were driving down the road,,lol.

Hello, I'm sorry I've been away from the forums for a while, but I had computer issues and just plain too busy driving :) I have now almost 5k miles on my GTO, mostly thanks to my semi-long-distance girlfriend. Anyways, myredGTO, you don't need any permission (if you ask, they won't let you :)) from the track and you certainly dont have to pay anything. Just go in on the weekend at a time where there is NO ONE and do your thing. The worst thing that can happen is that someone would come and ask you to leave.

Anyways, my GTO unfortunately has developed a dashboard rattle (damn you RR crossings), in your experience, would the dealer be able to fix it?

Thanks,
Mahir
