Well I drove home in a GTO tonight, the wait ended before I knew it. I had originally intended to get a Black/Red A4, but my dealer got a Black/Black A4 in today for the lot and called. I didn't think I would be too keen on it because I had settled on red interior but was concerened about how much red they used throughout the car, but I liked the black interior in the yellow car I checked out recently so I decided to go look, figuring I might get to drive it. Well I thought it was awesome and once I new for sure (I left and went back) I wasn't just compromising to get the car two months early I went for it. I couldn't stop grinning on the way home and got acosted at a gas station when I stopped for a pop (not opened in the car of course) by a couple of people who knew right away what it was. The car is phenomenal, it wants to just unleash those horses and it's so smooth. You guys hang in there and you will be rewarded I promise you. I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

I hear you, but I don't feel like I settled. I thought black on black would be boring, but actually it's pretty slick. I thought it over for quite awhile just to make sure I wasn't just chomping at the bit and am totally happy. Still has red gauges so I've got some red in there I guess!! I could have had a yellow M6 too and didn't jump at that (although those are awesome too), I just underestimated the black on black cars.

Yeah, I ran into Britus at the dealership last night when he was getting it. Made me wanna ditch my Blue/Blue one and get the Yellow one sitting in the showroom. We wait this long now our local dealership has 2 that were unaccounted for at MSRP. I think mdgto is going to by the yellow one instead of waiting for his silver one, but I'm not sure.

Britus, If you're gonna be around this weekend let me know, I'd love a ride (that's ok, I don't wanna drive it) if you're breaking her in.

Mine was built 9/23

5000 status car delivered to dealer " yes its there"

Mine was built 10/3, was placed on a rail car 12/3 and it arrived 1/15.

Now she sits, with 3 coats of Zaino polish and awaiting a name!
