Anyone thinking about a bra.............for the car?

Well, to be honest a car bra is the absolute positively LAST thing I would ever consider putting on a car I owned. The are the ugliest, tackiest thing - well below any neon, nekkid lady mudflaps, trashcan exhaust outlets, or any other goofy appearance item you can think of. I would take that stupid wood spoiler that people have been sending around the internet for a while before I would degrade any car, let alone one as cool as the GTO, with a bra.
Haven't seen the spoiler yet. I've got a "woodie" just thinkin' about it. :bubbrub Send me a link, I could use a good laugh.
I have to agree that a bra is one of the last things I would add. This car looks great as it is. I would not ruin the clean appearance with something like that.
Well I like the bra you posted, but as for the Goat bra I think not.
I just don't understand car bra's at all.

Why would you make your car look stupid by adding a bra?

Is it to protect the paint? Why?

So it looks good when you sell the car? Why make it look good for someone else, yet it looked bad when you had it?

Like I said, I don't get it. Not one bit. If someone has any good insight for adding a bra, I would like to hear it.
The GTO has boobs?

Indeed! The original inquiry was strictly medical. Not so much from the aspect of style (which has clearly struck a collective nerve), but to reduce the inevitable sagging that will occur on a car that has this much up front. :wall:
I don't like bras on cars, or women either for that matter.
NOOOOOOOOOO BRAS!.. *cough* And wat u got agaist underglow!
Auto bras are like those plastic covers granny puts on her furniture. They were an ill conceived notion from the beginning. More often than not, dirt and grit gets under them and then you know what happens! Auto bras and the pictured one above should be shed!
As for UNDERGLOW(Although I don't think this is the correct thread for the subject), I quite enjoy that time with lady lady after we, well you know.....
It's a time to cuddle and revel in each other's arms. She likes that.

While the purpose of a bra is to protect the front end more than for looks, it really does not protect the front end as much as one would think. Dirt, gravel and grit get caught under the bra, then the constant, however minimal movement or flapping in the wind of the bra rubs that dirt, gravel and grit around. That has a sandpaper type effect on the surface of the hood. I had been thinking about a clear bra, not only for the front end, but also the mirrors. However Consumer Reports has bad things to say about clear bras. IE: Yellowing, peeling etc.
I guess I am in the minority here but I don't think car bra's are that bad on certain color cars. I have one on most of the time on my Forrest Green GTP and IMHO it looks ok. I agree I don't like them on Red cars and I don't think I will put one on my Impulse Blue GTO either. I use it mostly for long trips which eat up your front end and in winter to keep road salt from accumulating. I have been using it for 5 years and the front end still looks great. It's really noticeable when I go to car shows and the front has hardly any chips. As for the dirt getting underneath that's true if you get a $40 Autozone Le Bra or similar piece of crap. But if you get a good bra (I use Perfect Fit) dirt getting under the bra is not a huge issue.

Yeah I think a bra looks best on a flat black car ala Grand National. But best if that flat black car has that leatherette patina.
An auto bra for the GTO??? Come on people, I just got through eating! :( :( :(
I am picking up my Silver/red T56 on Saturday in Florida where I have a home. I work in Kansas and will eventually drive it out so I can actually use it other other than on vacation, weekends etc. Considering a Bra for the trip to Kansas. Won't keep it on as I agree with most here, they don't look that great.
Any tips on where to get one?
Thanks!
A bra? I think not. Maybe a jock strap, tho.
