Unfortunately the car was bought with ugly gray strips down the entire length of the car.. the roof was the only thing not redone at the time so I wrapped it.Welcome. So sunroof and matt black roof? Different but it yours so 👍🏻.
Nice stance/wheels.
Any powertrain/suspension mods?
It came with black interior, no tears I. The seats yet but the rears are ready to split and it’s unfortunate. I’d love red interior pieces with the black seats.. debating on piecing it together this summer.Never was a fan of QSM but that set up looks sharp! Red or black interior?
Hell yea. I’ll never let mine go that’s for sure.I'll take black roof with a sunroof on a clean QSM over totaled in a junk yard any day.
Welcome.
Yes sir, I bought them from my buddy who got them from the original purchaser and never used them as he went with ccw a couple weeks later. Love the look of these wheels. Those wheels are hard to find now too. Keep them
My biggest complaint with QSM is that silver is an imperfect color and it really shows with age. Can’t repaint anything silver unless I do the whole car at this point if I want it perfect. Why are so many people not fans of the silver cars? I think they look really good. My favorite is BOM then red, but not the red i ended up with. Sometimes I dream of buying a BOM roller and putting all my stuff in it, then putting my car back together enough to sell, running and driving.
My body shop matched my rear bumper perfectly when I had the passenger side cut out and molded for the split exhaust pipes. I have them now doing my front bumper, Catera door handles and eventually my SAP extension whenever it gets here. In 05 I bought the SAP grills and 05 hood and they were matched perfectly as well. My car is a garage queen so I can’t comment on paint fade. My 2014 Impala has 200k on it and the paint looks good for being a daily driver and run through the car wash a lot. No fade or clear coat oxidation but it has plenty of battle scars from road debris. I guess what I am trying to say is I haven’t experienced that on any GM silver car I have owned, and I currently own 3.My biggest complaint with QSM is that silver is an imperfect color and it really shows with age. Same here, no issues at all, not even peeling door handles or fuel filler door. The Holden paint is as thin as has been claimed though… my front bumper is being repainted due to rock chips and a scratch that won’t come out.I am orginal owner of mine QSM. But garage queen and never driven in snow. So paint not faded. View attachment 524734
Probably just a bad painter then. Silver is a tougher one to match. My painter even told me to check it out real good to make sure I was happy with the match or he would do it again if I wasn’t happy.Probably just a bad painter then. Most people wouldn’t ever notice but I do lol.
I didn’t even notice until someone else pointed it out and now it’s stuck in my head and I see it lol.Silver is a tougher one to match. My painter even told me to check it out real good to make sure I was happy with the match or he would do it again if I wasn’t happy.
