I just asked my dealer to refund my deposit on my GTO. Tracker hasn't been updated in a couple weeks (that I can tell anyway) and by the looks of it my car ain't showing up anytime soon and I sold my current driver (Audi S4) to a neighbor of mine who needs it in a week because he is turning in his lease.

Bummer.

Put down a deposit on a 6spd Acura TL. Not really a competitor of the GTO, but after a couple extended test drives, I'm impressed with the car overall. I don't know how well I'll like the front wheels doing the propulsion, but with no GTO in sight and nothing else really appealing to me, looks like Acura is getting my money.

How can you be pissed that you dont have your car. You had a TPW of 12/2. If your car went right form assembly line to ship to train you wouldn't even have it yet. Your car is built and on it's way.

When I put my deposit down on my car 5 months ago, the TPW was originally an early October date (according to dealer) and was told to expect delivery in December. Believing what the dealer was telling me, I lived my life according to my anticipated delivery date in December. I found a buyer for my car.

It wasn't until *after* I sold my car that I had discovered my TPW was changed to December--thanks to this website!

I don't blame my dealer and I'm not "pissed". Just disapponted.

Thanks for the history, now it makes sense why you are turning in your order. If I was you I would go look at 3 series BMW also. Good luck, let us know what you decide on doing.

Is a shame. Several folks have bypassed the orders and
gotten cars calling around. Have you tried that?

I cancelled our preorder because the dealer ordered the wrong color combo, I found mine by calling around. Most dealers in NVA are marking their's up so I called little dinky dealers all around till I found the car we were looking fo. Ours is now coming out of Richmond which is 2-3 hours away but it is saving me a lot of cash. Try doing that.

95 for me, I'm seriously thinking about cancelling at the end of January and move my $1000 deposit to a 2005 model, I know how to wait now and my ricer rental ain't all bad!! No info from Wanda, another dead end after losing UPRR.

my tpw was 9/24 and I'm still waiting, it's so many days ago that I have no idea the number. My salesman told me it should be here this past weekend but no GOaT yet.

All of the first orders got pushed back 1 month.Don't know for sure why.Had 1 car with original tpw 8/07 pushed to 9/27 still not here and the other car was 8/23 pushed to 10/10 arrived testerday.The only logical reason I can think of is first on last off,first in last out
