It seems everytime I attempt a launch in a racing situation i either take off like i would in ordinary driving except quicker causing the car to bog down instead of launching forward or i launch and i just sit at the line with my rear wheels spinning. Does anyone no what i am doing wrong? BTW i have stock everything.

More practice. You might want to get a GTimer from Passport to help you learn, as well. It will show your 0-60, 1/4 mile, 60', etc. What I do is to create a spreadsheet with data columns like rev, 60', ... and try different combinations, 1,000, 1,500, 1,800 RPMs. The last column is for comments - did it bog, did it spin, did you feather the clutch? Knowing your car is the best way to launch it. Incidentally, I have to launch around 1,800 and feather the clutch to get the best launch on mine. But I'm still breaking in the car (won't go over 4,000 RPM, won't launch above 2,000 RPM) so I'm sure our technique will change as we get used to each other. HTH.

Try between 2250 and 2500. That should give you a chirp or two then off you go!
