im think about geting cut out for my 04 m6, what kinda of numbers should i see with the cut outs cai and a good tune?.........also what size cut outs would i need and were do i put them before the cat, or after ( i think the 02's might be in the way if i put them infront of them). Last some on told me that cut outs sound lke crap onn my car is that true........ive herd sound clips but u cant realy tell unless u hear them in person.

cut outs in and of themselves won't give that great of a gain. you need to tune with the cut outs open to maximize and then you'd need a different tune to maximize with them closed. good reason to get a tuning suite like HPT or EFI live

well i would get a tune with it i would tune it with them open b/c thats what i would run them at the strip........what kinda gains would i get from them that way and would my car run bad when they are shut b/c it was tuned with them open?

My buddy's LS1 camaro gave a little over 10 horsepower and 2/10 in the 1320. The car was tune with them closed.

well can somebody give me some links that show me the hp/ 1/4 times decreasses....... from cut outs.... thank you!
