I jacked up the drivers side of the car so all the oil will drain to the drain plug. I took the 4 bolts out holding up the metal pan (13mm) and just let her rip. I let it drain a few minutes. Dropped the oil filter (PF-44 came out but the manual says PF-46 so that what I put on). Filler her up and reattached the pan. Every thing went fine. I didnt notice any metal in the oil catch pan, so everything is good.

It wasnt as hard as I thought it would be.

PF46 is the upgrade from the 44. I believe it adds an anti-drain back valve to help keep oil in the engine to help eliminate/reduce cold start knock.

There's nothing wrong with the 44 though. When I finish running through my stock of 44's, I'll go 46.

Good to hear that there was no shavings. Now come pick me up. :D
