Hey all i was wondering but here's the thing. When i start my car when its cold and i go any speed "while engine cold" i will let off the gas completely and then push in the cluch and the engine will go to idle then rev like 400rpms. WTF is that??

This is normal, if I'm understanding what you're saying. When an engine is in open loop and cool, idle speed is brought up in an attempt to reach op temp more quickly.

btw, it is an open loop thing. quite normal. just imagine if you had a cam, it gets even worse
