I just placed my order with SLP for the loudmouth exhaust and some other stuff well here my invoice :)

31060 - EXHAUST SYSTEM, "LOUD MOUTH" 2004 GTO W/X-PIPE - 1 at 599.95 each
73006 - BUSHINGS, 2004 GTO SWAY BAR LINK (SET OF 8) - 1 at 34.95 each
73005 - BUSHINGS, 2004 GTO REAR SWAY BAR (PAIR) - 1 at 24.95 each
100228 - THERMOSTAT, 160º LS1 2004 GTO/CORVETTE/C/K TRUCK - 1 at 19.95 each 54360 - FENDER COVER, W/SLP PERFORMANCE PARTS LOGO - 1 at 18.95 each
59399 - FRAME, LICENSE-PLATE W/SLP PERFORMANCE PARTS LOGO - 1 at 8.95 each

My car is waiting on axle bolts at the dealer which are supposed to come in tommorow so hopefully I will have my car back when these get shiped will post pics and a sound clip when finished :) Im also in the market for a good H/C package but doing my research any one got some good recomendations?

Speed Inc. sells a kit with patriot performance LS6 stage II heads, crane cam of choice, hardend pushrods, balancer bolt, Fel Pro head gaskets and all other gaskets for $2200.


Make sure when you install that loudmouth you smack thoes mufflers and pipes on quite briskly. If they arn't on enough part of the exhaust will hit the tailshaft, my theory atleast.

There is no need for a 160* T-Stat on a stock motor. I found when I had it that at cruise speed, it was running way too cool and possibly putting the PCM into reduced power mode.

Once you do H&C, S/C or whatever, different story.
