Has anybody else had this issue? It didn't start immediately after I put CAI on but it is somewhat recent enough. The coolant level cold is a slight bit below the fill line on the overflow. Is the sensor that sensitive?

The only time it comes on is when the car is first started or sits for a couple hours.

Any input in appreciated

There have been cases of faulty Coolant level sensors on LS1 powered cars. I don not know if that is the case with the GTO though.

Also, have you replaced the T-Stat or done anything to have to open up the cooling system that resulted in you having to replace coolant? If so, it still may need to "burp/purge" itself.

Mine had a small coolent leak from the get go so I popped in some stop leak tabs
and that was the end of that.
They use it @ the factory too.
