What kinda torque can the transmission handle befoer its gonna need upgrades?
It's my understanding we have the beefier 4L65E, whats good beginning upgades to make to this?

We have a 4L60E but it's been upgraded with components of the 4L65E. PadreGTO and BMR Fabrication both have stock transmissions - Padre's been doing mid-12s and BMR broke into the high 10s (but they blew the engine - over 80 passes in the 11s with no problem)...So that would be at least mid-high 400s at the wheel without serious issues at this point.

go to the BMR website on the left, click on the project GTO section.....that is one sick car they got :hail:

The 4L60 in my C5 has seen over 700 1/4 mile passes, and over 40k street miles without an issue :)
