I'm looking to take a ride in a car with a modded suspension setup. I am thinking of something like the Pedders Street II setup. I am in the San Fernando Valley area, but will drive some to try out the ride.

You are in modded GTO heaven.

Mine should be done by the end of September. I'll be on fresh OE springs, CG shocks at all four corners and every bushing in the Pedders catalogue with the front Hotchkis bar on medium and the rear bar on medium firm.

I am on factory 17s for now, expect to run out of tire long before I run out of suspension. Have a line on a set of factory 18s... I am down on mid-Wilshire until early January.

Read some sigs, check some locations, send some PMs. Anything you can think of to test ride is within 150 miles of Glendale. Might search here for threads with "modded suspension" in the title too.

The Street II is a pretty good package of stuff. I am not sure if front strut top bushings are included in the kit, I would not (opinion alert) take the front suspension apart without replacing them.

Absolutely take a few or several test rides. 1 minute of seat time is worth about ten hours of reading threads here.

To sort of guide your test ride goals llafro:

About how many miles do you drive annually?

Is the GTO your primary car?

What are your handling goals?

What is your target dirvetrain output?

and

What is your budget?

Those of us who drive 30k plus miles annually have found a recipe of good quality parts that works good through a wide range of alignment specs and so on, but if you only drive the car on weekends and are looking for a supercharger the 'high miler' solution would be a waste of my typing and your reading.

You should come to the GTO gathering on the 30th you will probably be able to get a ride in many different GTO's. There will probably be over 80 GTO's there. Look at the link in the SouthWest section on September get together

About 5 to 6,000 - the car is almost two years old and just turned 11,000

Is the GTO your primary car?
I do have another car (98 Grand Prix GTP), but I drive the GTO more.

What are your handling goals?
I've gotten more interested in running some of the canyons around here lately. Some of the roads are quite challenging, and it's fun. The car seems to do farily well completely stock, but could definitely use some improvement. I love the way the car is right now, but if it could be better (without sacrificing too much), I would love to see how. That's why I'd like to ride in a car with modded suspension - to see how the ride differs.

What is your target dirvetrain output?
Completely stock at this point. I am considering doing a Magnacharger down the road.

What is your budget?
I don't really know at this point what I want to spend. Money isn't really the problem - it's more about cost benefit ratio.
