Hey guys, I would like to get the part number for the Monaro series 3 wheels in 18x8, but I cant seem to find the part number, I know that Capa sells this wheels, but I can not tell how much they are since the price listed is in Australian Dollars, this is the wheel that I'm talking about, perhaps I can order them through my local dealer, I don't know, if not I'm going to order from Capa.

The wheels in question are on page four of the link posted above. They are listed as "V2 Monaro Series II 18"x8".

Yeah phobos512 is right. They are the ones.

I sold my old wheels ( the ones you want ) to a friend for $2000.00 Au, with near new tyres. Only 1500 kms ( 932 miles ) old and with out doing any skids!! The V2 Series 111 Monaro comes standard with those wheels. It is wierd that your GTO only gets 17" wheels...

I know, I really want to get this wheels, I guess I'm going to have to order from CAPA, or the other vendor, unless of course you can go buy them at the dealer ship and send the to me air cargo, you can make a little profit on the side, not that I don't want to help the sponsors with my business.

I can find out a price if you like.

Ok, I rang my local holden, and he was not 100% sure on if they are the right ones. About au $385.00 each I think around $270.00 in US dollars
Holden center caps au $33.00 around $26.00 in US dollars

I'll go in tomorrow and look at the picture to see, and also grab the part number for you.

But I have no problem getting them for you dude...

It would be much appreaciated if you can get them for me, please PM me once you get the info on the wheels, I guess I just need to find out how to get you the money, or perhaps I can get you paid once you get here to Vegas, I can arrange to pick you up at the Airport and then drive to the air cargo office and pick up the wheels, once i get you paid of course, let me know.

try "www.suttons.com.au" as theyre one of the biggest Holden dealers in Australia (as well as being authorised HSV dealers) and probably ship international orders

to convert Australian dollars to American multiply by .71

to convert US dollars to Australian dollars divide by .71

It is harder than you may think to get these wheels as i explained to dede in the email.. Holden have clamped down on them, and you do require, if purchasing more than 2 wheels, a police report to prove they were stolen, as well as VIN # off the vehicle in question... :banghead:

We can obtain them, it just takes some time, to get them in.... They are a great looking wheel though...

That's really weird GM wouldn't sell those outright, but instead require a police report to prove they were stolen... I think a set chromed would look sweet on my Impulse blue GTO!!

i guess its not totally unheard of. i have heard that you need a true Firehawk Vin # to purchase Firehawk parts from SLP.

I think this has been talked about before in a previous thread, but if you can hold off a few months, those wheels should be available through the dealer's parts dept. I think we will be getting the Series III wheels as the opt. 18" on the 05 GTO, but I could be wrong.

I called the local Pontiac and GM dealer with the part number for the wheels, and both dealers told me that the part number that I had given them it was wrong, that it was not in their system, perhaps I would wait 3-4 months and see if GM decides to bring them to the US with the new 05 GTO. thanks everybody for their help on this.

It's not, its a holden part # it wont be in the system with that # it probably wont be in the system for the GTO either till around november. I'm actually in the process of importing a set of those wheels right now.

Guys,

I have gotten a qoute on these rims from JHP in Australia. Check this out:
Hello Ryan

Yes we think the Monaro/GTO is a great vehicle with a few personal
enhancements.
The cost for the 18" x 8" Monaro II alloy wheel kit is $990 USD, these are
genuine G.M (Aussie) parts
The performance HSV MAF pipe kit to suit the GTO is $130 USD
Freight is approx $354 delivered to New York

Thanks for your enquiry

Geoff Thuring

By the way the Series II Monaro Rims are on the last page of their rim section.
