I saw this Mustang in the commuting traffic and said to myself, "Too bad I'm not in the GTO." Anyway, we finally get side by side, first in line at a light, and I figure, "What the hell." I look over to the Mustang GT driver. She's a blue haired old woman, about 70, and obviously thinking about her doctor's appointment, not street racing. The light turned green and I pulled away normally. So did she, and I was three blocks ahead before I knew it.
OK, it's not a kill, but it was funny at the time. The Mustang GT looked great and it seemed a waste that so much muscle was being babied along by grandma. Have you noticed that probably half of the Mustangs you see on the road are driven by people who wouldn't dream of punching the throttle? That's not a BAD thing, just an example of how the Mustang is "mainstream" and the GTO is "unique."
