I thought it looked okay but I am not into the scoop thing unless they are worth something.

I like it! I'm a sucker for 19" rims and a nice paint job. I also like the way the facia is cut around the headlights. I noticed a couple of Holden models do this as well. It's a nice touch. Hood looks a little overdone with the grey and black insert. Don't really think that adds much to the equation. If it's non-functional then it gets an immediate thumbs down on principle. Car definitely shows some Ford Contour slash Volvo S40 cues.

Not to be a dick (johnson), but the nameplate in the front says Ford. Looks like a contour w/ aftermarkets on the front to make it like a commodore to me. I really don't like much about that car.

The grey/black bits on the hood bulge (and I don't like them, either) are applied by Dick Johnson Racing, but the bulge and the headlight cut-outs are straight from the Ford Australia showroom. Not many Mustangs down here - we have these instead!

Look guys im usually a holden fan but this DJR falcon is an excellent car. It "goes hard, grip tenaciously, ..handle and ...brake" all these for around 90 000 AUS. Its a 320kw 540Nm racing car with "conservative power figures" (engine management unaltered) , fitted with 365mm rotors with six piston monoblack and 343mm with four piston rears. This car has been set up for comfort in lower speeds but performance at higher speed (many imports and local holden and ford aim for this but never quite get there). The interior have all been redone, refinement and comfort is far higher than even the top FPV vehicle (refinement better if not matches the best of germany). The car wears 19-inch BBS Motorsport alloys with 245/35-section front and 285/30-section rear Dunlop SP Sport 9000 tyres.

From the article it seemed that the bonnet hump change was done primarily to have a more distinctive look (and not step on FPR products), and yes the bonnet hump serves a purpose i.e. fit the engine in.

All cars are road tested by Dick Johnson (five time australian touring car legend) before being personally delivered.

That is great value for money....90,000 AUS $$ cant even get you half an M5 in australia. This car has top everything, custom made parts, largest brakes fitted in any aust performance car, uses a top v8 supercar equipment and knowledge. This car would slaughter many if not all imports and locals in the twisties and in a drag (with similar $$ and modifications).

No performance numbers, but already its being hailed by people who have driven it as the best australian car...far better than anything holden of ford performance arms. I tend to be suspicious with mags, however this car with custom parts from a top race team, tested and tuned by a race legend and renound suspension specialist along with special tyres does seem a little different from other tuner cars (tried to have the best of everything not just power).
