Well, At 62000 miles it looks like I need a new steering rack.

:bomb:

I'd be upset, but it seems to be the GM norm for the rack to start going around this mileage. Both my old Trans Ams did it as well at this point...

It's leaking from the seal at the steering column into the gear. Is there anyone you guys would recommend within an hour of Baltimore that does good work?

Sorry John but the only shop I would suggest is in Chantilly, Va. EB3motor's would be my choice. They are about another 15 mins down Rt-50 from FairOaks if that help's You.

Thanks. That does help and I was looking over their website. I just don't want to have to take a day off to get the car fixed up.

I had the same problem on my goat and its fixed now. Do not go the Pontiac dealership in Glen Burnie. They like to take cars and go joy riding.......

The near where I work (Reisterstown) quoted me 500 to install and align the car...
