I finally broke down and bought some Nitto's drags. The things hook really well. Last night I experimented all night with them. I left my house nice and early and got to the track before it opened. I was like the 2nd car in the tech line and got myself right over in lane 5 and was the first car to go.

First pass:
Rather excited and it showed because I missed the 3-4 shift and got on the brakes aborting the pass and netting me intresting results. When I saw this I knew the car was not only faster, but was hooking up in comparison to the 2.3 60' being my best short time before
60'=2.09
1/8=8.4
mph=87.84
1/4=13.23
mph=90.33

2nd pass:
60'=2.17
1/8=8.5
mph=87.95
1/4=12.94
mph=111.26

3rd pass:
60'=2.08
1/8=8.42
mph=88.47
1/4=12.84
mph=111.82

4th pass:
60'=2.04
1/8=8.4
mph=87.82
1/4=12.82
mph=111.89

5th pass:
60'=2.16
1/8=8.4
mph=88.95
1/4=12.81
mph=112.35

6th pass:
60'=2.18
1/8th=8.3
mph=89.75
1/4=12.73
mph=113.22 :eek2:

Temps were in the high 60's and humidity was in the upper 70's. Very good florida air. I'm glad I made the trip and finally made it in the 12's. I feel the car has a 12.4-12.5 in it with some better driving on the radials. I finally got them dialed in at 21psi is where they seemed to like the launch. That could change some because I was spinning them some off the line in the last 2 passes. I am excited that my Steelworks sent out the drivers side 2 day air and I'll be installing them with the gears this week. We'll see what this thing can really do then I'm hoping for [email protected] or more.

Darn you, Doug. Here I was with my 112.90 trap and the first thing I thought was "Ha! Trapped better than Doug!" :punch:

Congrats. Awesome runs. :cool:

How are you launching? RPMs, clutch, all that? There's no reason you shouldn't be able to pull 1.8 or so sixties.

Well Padre, Doug does have a M6 to your A4 with a stall convetor which will always trap a higher speed than a A4.

Great times!!!! Now lower those tires to 18 psi and launch at 4000K RPMS and you will see better 60 foots ;)
Yep, lower the pressure and you should be able to come out a little harder. I found 17psi worked the best for my old WS6(275/40/17 Nitto DRs) Congrats as it only gets better :)

Video's are coming. I get home too late to do the vids the same night. The stupid track is 100miles away from my house. I get home around 11-12pm and am usually too tired. I posted the times this morning because I was excited to share. I just got home from work and the vids will be up by tonight.
