I just got my 06 Spice back from having the front bumper repainted after the tow incident.

The body shop said to wait at least a MONTH before I apply any wax/polish at all, to let the paint cure and breathe for a while.

Should I even wash, and/or wipe this section (I use Australian sheep skin mits) with any car wash soap, or just let it run over it??

I would just wash the car with car soap and try and keep any grease etc. off of it. If you are desparate, you can use 3M hand glaze but no sealants or waxes on it until the time is up

If your washing I would be really carefull not to leave any swirls in that fresh paint. Powerwash only for a month or so and dont even dry it. I know it's terrible to let the car look like that for a month but it's worth it in the end. If your located in a hot area cure time is usually cut down. And if your fresh paint is only on the front clip. Then hand wash the rest of the car and dry it with microfiber as usual.
