I think I am finally going to buy my new wheels and tires. For wheels I have decided on TSW Mondellos in hyper black, 18x8 in front and 19x19.5 in back.

From what I have read that means the tires will be 245/40/18 and 265/30/19.

My question is, what tires do you recommend? I am hoping for around $150 to $200 if possible. I know it is pricey for those fat rear ones...

Nevermind, I think I changed my mind. I'm going to go with 18's all around, with 245 in front and 275 in back. For this I am thinking BFG G-FORCE KDW T/A's.

Michelin Pilot SP2 are the best but not cheap. KDWs are better than stock.

For what it's worth I am really happy with my Goodyear F1's. If you look at the ratings at the tirerack.com site, they scored really well. Also, I think it was Car and Driver that did a test in conjunction with the Tire Rack using a 3 series BMW where this particular tire came in first against BFG, Michelin, Dunlop, Pirelli, Yokohama, etc.

Cost about $220/pc for 17x8's. Yeah I know, go ahead and call me a puss for keeping stock wheels...
