Not a big deal, but worked for me: I only removed the 2 front and passenger rear shield bolts and loosened the other enough to be able to rotate the shield under the driver side cat. I also used a block of wood to support it, but probably was just being anal.

That's the exact same thing they did at the dealership except they did not support it. Just spun it out of the way.

Duh! Why didn't I think of that? It was awkward as hell trying to get that thing back on. Great tip! Thanks!

Oh, but one good thing about taking it all the way off. I was able to give it a real good cleaning. LOL, I clean everything I can see and get to.

I took mine off because I didn't want it anyway. :D
