What are the opinions on if I had to ask. With the little research that I have done I don't see any benefits.

I will not put anything other than good old fashioned wax job on my car I'm too afraid of the effects that you wont see untill 5 or 6 years down the road.

bty the california clay bars are ab fab and will do wonders to a rough paint job.
Pardon my stupidity but what is Perma Plate?

Its an anti-corrosion process that treats door jams and the undercarraige and other high rust, low visibility areas (stuff that you don't notice is starting to corrode). Its done by the car dealers themselves. I have no idea if its worth it or not, but living in Florida my odds of rusting are a lot less since road salt doesn't exist.
Thanks, living in Southern California it does not sound like something I need.
