How much more do I need to pass an M5? Mine is a 2003 Holden Monaro A4 and has:

Exhaust = 2.5" Cat-back system, 2.5" through pipes, 1 5/8" tri-y headers
Intake = 4" HSV Intake Pipe, K&N replacement, removed honey comb from stock airbox
Tranny = B&M Cooler, Transgo shifkit, TCI Master Overhaul 4l60e kit (strengthened

The M5 has Intake, Supersprint Exhaust, Remapped ECU tuned by Powerchip.

I raced him before from 20 mph till 140 mph and he passed me 3-4 car length.
Do you guys think ill pass him if i added a 3.46 ratio, PCM Editor (LS1edit or HPtuners), pulleys and did some weight reduction? I might even add 50-75 Shot NOS if its needed to pass this god damn car.

Thanks,
PE

I sat next to a M5 the other day at a stop light.
We just looked a each other and smiled.
We both knew it wasent worth the ticket :slap:
It might have been fun though :D
I must say I like the styling of the M5
Very nice car

your V2 monaro already has a 3.46? i'd go with a 4.10 diff if you wanna change it, 3.91 diffs are easier to come by. Why not LS1 edit or a cam swap if you are serious? If you sunk that much money into the trans why didn't you change the converter? high stall converter does alot for these cars.

Stock M5's don't test any faster than most Goats. They sit about mid 5's 0-60.
