i would let a few other folks comment first, tho. i'm pulling this idea out of my butt--just guessing.
Okay, @eXo3901 here is exactly what I did in the exact order I did it in per the instructions on post #47. First I reprogrammed the ecuI have all original OEM modules. There was no issue with any of them. Just needed to follow the service procedure. Reprogram>Wait for security code box to pop up to link the PIM>enter security code>PIM and ECU link successful.
According to the directions on post #47 you have to use the scan tool to link the PIM to the BCM and the SPS to link the PIM to the ECU.why aren't you using one tool for everything?
How do I get SPS on the Tech2?you should be able to use the tech ii for everything.
Crap! Of course it is, my laptop doesn't have that connection 🙄with this cable

If one exists and can run at those specs yes.@slacker I'm wondering if I can get a USB adapter?
Holy hell this is a nightmare. If one exists and can run at those specs yes.
Which connection? The serial? Thats why you need the serial adapter to usb. Which i posted previously.Crap! Of course it is, my laptop doesn't have that connection 🙄
The “ethernet” plugs into the tech2 and the rs-232 plugs into the computer.Which connection? The serial? Thats why you need the serial adapter to usb. Which i posted previously.
The other looks like ethernet. Which there are ethernet to usb adapters available as well.
