I ran into a late model firehawk (TransAm with a killer SLP body/hood and engine package licensed by GM) on my way to work today. It had a custom paint job too (blue steel color, very nice!) and black rims. We raced our engines and chased eachother (didn't race though). He tried to break away and I kept up with him the whole time. After some time, I looked down at my speedo and to my suprise, I was pushing 145mph!!! At that point, I backed off to catch my exit to the 133 and the 5 fwy cutoff, but WOW was I impressed with the Goat! May wonders never cease! I love this car!!

I know! What suprised me even more than the speed was how the Goat wound up to that speed without any unusual behavior, noises, rattles, laboring, or roar (aside from the exhaust )! I didn't even realize I was going that fast until I looked down at the speedo! Incredible!
