I think mine has given up the ghost. I searched the forum and the consensus it to get the ACDelco expensive option that is basically an exact new factory replacement. Unfortunately I cannot find anyone that has one in stock. What would be the closest in terms of quality and longevity? My brief search has come up with the following options:
Every water pump with the exception of the pricier ACDelco have a moss cast into them to adapt what appears to be the early truck upper hose fitting.
From what I'm seeing either I wait till March and get the ACDelco, try to find a used part, of get the cheapest one I can find and run it till it gives up the ghost, then hopefully the ACDelco will be back in stock. What are your opinions?
