It appears finding an OEM shift knob for my M6 is nearly impossible. Anybody find something similar that looks nice?
Thanks in advance.

Very nice and very GM but pricey.
I made this one for about $40. Not stock but fits with the look of the interior.

Do you mean TWM? I had an M1 Abrams on a previous car. Loved it.

I always wondered if a SS shift knob would fit. They dont look half-bad, but I dont know for certain.

GM Part # 92201936 is a G8 knob that almost the same... Google the part number to see it and it's around $100. It comes with a leather boot that you remove and install the knob.

Yup, it's the EXACT same physical knob as a GTO knob. Only difference is you can only get it with black stitching.
I have one on my 05. It's a direct fit:

A little unconventional but I tapped a thread in a 6th gen Camaro ZL1 shift knob to get it to fit with my GMM shifter.

I am looking at doing this exact shift knob. Is there a lot of meat with the ZL1 knob for threading or do you have to be fairly careful?
I have a hinson shifter and am thinking that if I use the Lou Stick I could then thread the ZL1 knob M16 x 1.5 threads

Thread is from over 4 years ago. Those replica knobs weren’t available back then.
