According to this schedule (http://www.portoftacoma.com/vessellist.cfm), the "Straights Venture" (Left Elizibeth 3/19 according to another post here) is going to arrive in Tacoma on 12Apr, not Benicia. I thought these cars were going through Benicia. Just curious...

Benicia is a private port and they do not publish a schedule. Typically the ship goes to Benicia first and then goes to Tacoma. Figure it will hit Benicia around the 6th. It has been taking about 18-19 days to make the crossing.

So it moves on to Tacoma with other vehicles besides GTO's then(according to the Tacoma schedule, the cargo is 'Autos'), or does it unload some GTO's up there as well.
If it's other cars, what other cars would they be from Australia?

Shipping costs

An interesting point. It costs less to ship a GTO from Ausie land, than it cost to ship a truck from Detroit to California. Go figure

Pontiac does a lot of stuff to the vehicle when it reaches Benicia. Gets washed, batteries charged, general inspections, documentations of conditions. I hink they may even check the torque on the wheels.
