i am looking at picking up some additional 17s to screw off and do some drifting... but i am wondering if the bigger sidewall is a disadvantage and i should just be looking for low profile 18s, ftw.

anybody that drifts regularly got an opinion on this?

umm, you should be ok with the right PSI. but IMO, im running 18's, and it gives me more flexibility with pressures. youll be running a high rear pressure anyways, or should be, so you should be cool, stay above 45psi, see if it comes off the wheel, but everyone here says youll be cool!
