I noticed that not many members on here have the SAP on their GTO... If you don't have it, is there a particular reason you don't want it?

I'm just curious if people actually dislike the SAP.

There are some aspects of the SAP I like and others that I don't. I just was not willing to pay what they were charging. Since it is a dealer installed option I always figured if I started seeing too many GTO's around (which has not been the case) I could always go back and get it.

I cant afford it. I am piecing one together. Right now all I ahve is the spoiler. I want the rear facia and the grills painted PBM. I got the spoiler for like $100 NIB. Just waiting on the right deals to come along so I can afford it.

What is NIB? How did you get the spoiler so cheap?

Also, what is the meaning behind all of these acronyms? (WTB, etc...)

I've got the SAP and love it. Without it, the car was a little too 'rugged' for me. The SAP styling cleaned it up, IMO. :)
You do understand that the package is intended to make the car look more aggressive, right? (thus more rugged)

Lots of folks bought the package with the autocross grilles, '05 hood, and SAP spoiler. I (and apparently a fair number of others) don't particularly care for the looks of the latter... sold mine.

I kinda like the SAP front and I really like the SAP rear (prefer it to the stock '05/'06 rear)... I am uncertain if I will go that route in the future (I REALLY want the $$$ HSV GTO spoiler/roof spoiler, and am concerned that would look too "ricey" in combo with the rear SAP). I may just get the PFYC bumper cutout whenever I get my headers and change my exhaust (probably not for a year or so)...

The SAP side skirts really don't do that much for me, sorry... YMMV.

We have it and absolutely love it. When seeing the SAP next to one without it....hands down, I'm happy about the decision

I have the 04 sap kit (grills/hood/spoiler) and love it. I dont like the 05/06 sap rear but I do like the front, but I wouldnt buy one unless it had DMS's attachment kit. Unfortunately that and the side piece plus painting it a a bit too much $$$ for me right now. Plus, with 26k, my front is beat up enough that the sap piece might not adhere very well so Ill prob wait until I buy a new front end down the line sometime... Or just get a monaro front bumper

The only thing I like about the SAP kit is the blacked out bottom chin, and I can do that more cleanly by painting it rather than strapping a piece of plastic to the front of the car that juts out with hard edges. Also, I just don't think the sideskirts are round enough for the car, and the spoiler just looks like an add-on off of another car (WAY too angular for the car - no line on that spoiler matches anything).

The entire kit installed looks OK with all the angles, but to me, the car's natural lines look more... natural. Plus, you have to pay a pretty penny for it... so I'm a no-go.

I really hated the bottom part of the rear bumper being gray(although many members here did a great job painting to match the car's color) so I insisted upon the rear SAP and then had to get the mufflers installed too. The front SAP looks nice but the rocker panels with the two square holes are useless(especially when they are primed and you have to get them painted on top of being installed). Plus, I bought a brand new car and its original rear bumper is in my cellar and the dealer would not even allow credit for it.

I agree 100% that, to my eye, the SAP spoiler doesn't look like it "flows" with the lines of the car, but my buddy who restores old Pontiacs on the side pointed out that the styling apes that of the Judge GTO spoilers...

I have the SAP kit minus the spoiler and love it. I get so many compliments because of it. Everyone asks what I did to it and I tell them not a thing. It makes a big difference. Love it. I have a GTO!!

i like the front fascia extention and the grills. already have the grills. the front piece is on my list of things to get at some point. time and money is the only thing holding me back. i dont care for the rest of the sap kit though.

I added the front extension and grill's. I also have the RKsport hood on mine. I didnt do the rear or side skirts. I really didnt like the way the rear looked with the little slit's cut in it like vents or something. It also looks way to long in the rear with that rearend, nothing breaking it up. But as You can see everybody has a different idea for "Their" GTO.

I put on only the grilles, front extension, and rear spoiler. I didn't like the rear bumper, and the side skirts didn't seem to flow well into the rear without the rear bumper.

I have the grilles and hood on mine. I kinda like the front chin, but don't like the fact that is black in the center. Would look better painted. Big ching for this for something I'm unsure about.
