I am sold on Aerokroil. I’ve used this on many rusty bolts and haven’t broken any since.
Recently I did an exhaust manifold on a 4.2 GM with 150k miles. I sprayed all the manifold bolts and the studs to the exhaust pipe. I ran it for one day to get some heat and then soaked them again before taking it apart. Everything came out fine.
Aerokroil is a bit pricy at 27.00 a can but well worth it

I have tried that, 50% acetone and 50% trans fluid. It works great on small parts you want to soak but as a penetrate on bolts I have had better luck with Aerokroil.

I have some 60 year old carbs that were frozen and I soaked them in the acetone/trans fluid mixture and they did come free.

I had a few suspension bolts on a 60 year old car that I could not break free but after soaking in Aerokroil they came right out.
