Ok folks. It’s been a long time since I posted and I am now to old and too tired to research. Lol. I need to replace my filter for my svede. Seriously. I have researched and either I am dumb or i can’t find info or both. K&N no longer lists the part number. Can someone assist me? Thanks.

So it is no longer available. From my research the filter was originally a K&N filter only available in the UK?

Will have to use dimensions to source something else.
If I find one I'll post it here.

Filter dimensions according to summit racing.

KNN-33-2522
Air Filter Style: Panel
Air Filter Length (in.): 16.75 in.
Air Filter Width (in.): 5.31 in.
Air Filter Height (in.): 0.69 in.

Edit: Summit suggests this alternate filter: KNN 33-2011

Air Filter Style: Panel
Air Filter Length (in.): 16.50 in.
Air Filter Width (in.): 5.75 in.
Air Filter Height (in.): 0.75 in.

Some difference in size but maybe?

It’s damaged. It’s almost 10 years old. I got an original svede back in the day.

It's made of fiberglass. You're talking about it being shallow by an ~1/8" on each side of the long end, and a .44" taller on the wide end. You should be able to easily modify the opening to fit the new filter, or buy some paper filters for a TR-7 and see which one fits the best.

You might able to cut the svede where the filter goes it to make it fit right as an option as well. It is really close fit is my guess. I would try it

Ahhhh, my bad.
The 33-2011 is very close in size and might fit without any issues is why I think it was recommended to try.

33-2011 is the number I have listed for my Svede.
Maybe the first versions have older number. Mine is 33-2522. I bought svede right when they came out in June 2011.

I've cut both of my svedes to accept a larger filter, so it can be done.

I think the 33-2522 is for the original svede, and the 33-2011 is for the west cost speed version.
