True. Thanks man...I have gotten lazy with my old age. LolIt's made of fiberglass. You're talking about it being shallow by an ~1/8" on each side of the long end, and a .44" taller on the wide end. You should be able to easily modify the opening to fit the new filter, or buy some paper filters for a TR-7 and see which one fits the best.
I have the original flat design also. The rubber around the filter is cracked so it’s DONE. But I did get a replacement from a part number above. I will just trim a bit if necessary. Thanks for your help though.Hmm, I have one of his original hand made flat top intake.
Just always cleaned and reoiled.
