Just wanted to let those who don't know that you do not need to cut your IAT sensor apart to install
the new thermistor you can just stick a small screwdriver or allen wrench in the top of the cage and push out the bottom.

Glad somebody posted pics of this, I keep forgetting to take pics when I do them. It is simple- I use a small allen wrench myself, set the tpp of the IAT down on something and tap it out through the openings on the bottom. Snip, solder, push back together..

I was really suprised on how well new sensor works.

On my car you can see a temp increase when you let off the throttle driving down the freeway. Made sense to me as less air was flowing across it.
