I put all of this together about a month ago and I've been very happy with it, considering how little I spent and how it seems to blend right in to the GTO's interior.

Parts I used:
Samsung A10e phone ($24 clearance at Walmart)
Scosche MagicMount Magnet Phone holder ($12 @ Amazon)
Phone case with metal backing ($6.99 @ Amazon)
Two rubber bands (Free, already had)
Suitable base (Free, a .22 ammo box I had laying around)
Torque Pro App ($5 - Already purchased years ago)

Add'l Parts I ordered by didn't need yet:
180* charging cord ($11 - Link) My intention is to run it behind the phone & under the console but at the present, it stays charged for about a month & I haven't needed it.
Anker DC mini all metal phone charger ($10 - Link) Was going to leave it inserted into the charging port in the center armrest, but haven't needed it.

i just put my magnetic holder on the center console lid, where most of the after market gauge pods go.

Cool. I recently bought torque pro and the module and used it to track down misfires on my F150. It’s a awesome tool for sure. Especially when people online make cool dashboards for troubleshooting and you just steal them lol

Personally no, but ive seen it done. I think @Kfxguy did it?

Used this unit. I'll take a pic in the morning of Torque Pro running on it. I love it. Even found a correct GM oil pressure PID.

whats the PID for oil pressure? was curious if i could get it in my ultragauge
