good thing you mentioned that. retarding timing with FI is pretty important.
I like to drop it extra low and target an extra rich boost enrichment to start with a fast ramp in rate also. Then barely get into boost on the first pull to get an idea where I’m at on afr so nothing is put at risk. Then you can make adjustments and work up from there. Once afr is good I’ll put new plugs in and watch them as I start getting close on timing.

i've always used innovate stuff. cheap and works well.
I used them to tune my Grand National. 2 questions how many credits does it take to tune a A4 gto, and if I have catless mids can I use that bung for the wide band instead of installing new ones?

Just saw this on FB, might be a decent deal. I paid 230 for my aem but it was the can bus one

Do I need to get the PROLINK+ cable or will the stand alone like HP Tuners Ballenger AFR500v2 with NTK Sensor Wideband Controller work fine without it?
i am still using the old AF MPVI setup, so i wouldn't be able to tell you.

could shoot a few questions on the hptuners board.
