I have an 04 so I get the real lean cruise from the PCM.
You can go pretty much as lean as you want, under very low MAP settings.
I keep mine in the 1600-2400 range, .32G/cyl and lower. Tapering off to the sides, and higher in the MAP region.
My wideband reports anything from 18:1 to 15.5:1 when in lean cruise, depending on which cell I am in.
edit:
one thing to keep in mind, with you doing psuedo lean cruise, you may have some throttle transistion problems at low speeds, so keep an eye on it.
