I want more low in the rear. I have Lovells stock height springs, what spring is everyone running?

Is it just me or do these rims collect crazy dirt inside the spokes?
It's not just you - I noticed the same. Don't think I've ever owned a set of wheels that "collected" dirt like that.

All of these cars sure do look good..

Considering buying some V810s for open track events, but as a "budget" wheel, has anyone had any negative experiences with strength? Found a guy on a audi forum complaining about cracking all 4 of his in 5 months...

Not to thread jack... I figure this is relevant to the topic.

None here. I have V710s. Obviously they are very susceptible to curb rash, but I've hit some major potholes without any cracking.

I was curious what the 803's would look like on our cars it looks really good!
Thanks. Before I pulled the trigger on the 803s I looked high and low for any images of a GTO running them and couldn't find one so it was a "leap of faith". I am happy with the look.

I totaled my car and damn near killed myself, but the V810s are fine.

I have already reread this topic ten times and ask you for advice.
I want to install the kit:
VMR V710
Front : 19x8.5 ET45 with 235/35
Rear : 19х9,5 ET50 with 275/30

or the same size but R18
VMR V710
Front : 18x8.5 ET45 with 235/40
Rear : 18х9,5 ET50 with 275/35

But I have CTS-V brakes (6p front, 4p rear with bohmans kit) & KW V3 suspension.
I don't want to roll the fenders, can I install one of these kits?

I think you will be fine in the front (maybe a little close on the lower strut spring perch) but you will probably have to roll the fenders in the back. Based on my experience with 275/30-18's on 10" width in the back you will likely need an offset of 55-57mm to avoid rolling the rear fenders but that gets you real close to the shocks.

But the rims from the Maverick with ET 52 and the width of 9.5 inches and he promises that you do not need to roll the fenders.

Correct, I am running Ace Alloy rims with 52mm offset in rear with 275-30-19 and no rubbing and didn't roll the fenders.

One of the popular BMW VMR sizes is 9.5" with 45mm offset - On a GTO they need the fender lips trimmed with plenty of clearance to the shock.

V710 Hyper Silver
Front-18x8.5 ET 45 + 3mm spacer
Rear-18x9.5 ET 50
Sumitomo HTRZII
Front-235/40/18
Rear-275/35/18

no rubbing at all. no hub rings, standard acorn style lugs from discount tire.

ordered direct from VMR took about a week to receive.

So when you pay photobucket $500 a year for their service, this is what you get? there big banner stretching across your pic?

I got some of these VMRs you all speak of... V801

18x8.5/9.5 ET45/40 235/45/18 and 265/35/18 Hankooks
How does this set up look on yours? I just ordered some 710s in Gunmetal with same size/offset and tires. Should be receiving them in a couple of weeks.

Well, I finally got them from Modbargains. VMR 710s 18x8.5 et 45 front and 18x9.5 et45 rear. Hankook Ventus V12 evo2s tires, 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear. Had slight fender rubbing and found a reputable shop in San Antonio that rolled my rear fenders.

Also had alignment checked. Need front inner tie rods and tie rod ends ordered from Andy Kollar. Will get those installed soon and then alignment checked again.

Drive quality has improved over the stock 17s. Can't believe the difference. Modbargains was great to work with. Overall, extremely satisfied with results and look of my GTO. One of a kind!
