Ford Tempo, almost identical to this, clear coat gone and all. It was my mom's car she got a new Taurus. It lasted about a year of doing 70mph on the way to school on gravel roads drifting all the turns, before I think the tranny went on it or something, can't remember.

Then I bought my own car, 95 z28 auto.

A red 1994 Chevy Beretta Z26 auto with the 3.1, purchased used in June 1995 and eventually traded in October of 2000.

I recently turned 40 and have had as many daily drivers (three) as I've had "secondary fun" cars (that also would be three :p ).

That's the best one of those "priceless" verses that I've ever read.

1982 Trans Am - look almost exactly like this one - down to the ugly bowling ball wheels - for what ever reason even though it was a TA it had a flat (Firebird) hood -

It was my mom's car first and was order long before they were even in production so that may have something to do with it. I did eventually upgrade the bowling balls to polished Centerlines - the chicks thought that was way cooler

1977 FJ40 Land Cruiser. Bought in 1989 and daily drove for many years. Wheeled the living hell out of it for 10 years. Never had a winch on it. Locked front and rear.

Sold in 2005. My longest owned vehicle ever.

Buddy of mine had a similar one; it was like rolling through town in a convertible tank. :hbang:

Mine was the Skylark Custom, non GS, and had the tan vinyl top instead; same wheels though. Did have the 350-4 bbl, bucket seats and a lot of options, including power windows and seat, tilt, etc. Wished I could've kept it, even back then in the late 80's (knew it was not common), but we moved out of state.
