Alright... I like my stock 18's as much as everyone else, but I sure you will agree it greatly limits you DR options. I have looked at the BFG 245/40 18 G-Force T/A Drag Radial and it will work without any modifications, but the power level I am aspiring too is going too require more side wall to put the power to the ground. I have run fats and skinnies before and have considered this option, but am looking to go a different route with this car.

I want to run a 17" wheel all the way around... can a factory offset be run in the front with a 235 series tire therefore eliminting the strut rub issue? If not what back spacing will eliminate the strut rub issue? I know the backs will be OK and will allow me to run a 245 series NItto, so the fronts are my only concern....

I really appreciate the help.

Taz... you know better than anyone the extreme problem I had with the stock 17's and I don't want to drop any Benjamins on something I can't use. Maybe someone who is running an after market 17 can chime in and give a diffinative answer...

Wow, that 40mm offset is what really reduces wheel options. I found a crap load of wheels that have a 35mm offest, but now I know that isn't an option. BOO...! I guess I will keep looking... I am sure there is something out there!
