OK, I've posted this in other threads before, but always get ignored....

Does anyone else have any problems using a wireless FM modulator? I have the Sirius Sportster and the reception is terrible. I've tried all frequencies between 88.1 and 94.9, and they all suck.

Does anyone else have this problem? Could it be a problem with my FM antenna (I don't get especially great reception on the radio either)? Could there be some interferece in from of the shifter below the head unit?

I am hoping it's something simple like that, otherwise I'm going to have to switch to an inline modulator.

Once when I had bad reception (in a Malibu) I ended up tracing the antenna wire and found that there was a connector under the passenger floor that had come apart. Other than that I have no idea.

Wired FM mod sounds great in mine. Sounds tons better than it did in my WRX.

I went with an aftermarket stereo and aux inout in my WRX just to make it sound ok.

But the GTO has much better FM reception(seems I get 50 more stations) so the wired FM mod also sounds good
