Looking for an LS2 intake manifold for my project car. Was recommended to try and find someone through this forum! Located in NY, please let me know if you have one.
The LS4 is the worst, by far. The Dorman used to be a good buy, but now they are at FAST prices, which is pure insanity. If you have cathedral ports and a 4 bolt TB, and can't fit a TBSS, then the LS2 is your cheap option.I don't have an LS2 intake to offer you, but I do have to ask why you want an LS2 intake. They are pretty much the worst intake manifold GM ever put on the LS series engines. They can be ported to be somewhat improved, but an out of the box Dorman or FAST 102 are noticeably better.
yeah, i don't get it. just buy a FAST if you're willing to spend that much? The LS4 is the worst, by far. The Dorman used to be a good buy, but now they are at FAST prices, which is pure insanity. If you have cathedral ports and a 4 bolt TB, and can't fit a TBSS, then the LS2 is your cheap option.
But why not spend just a few more bucks for a FAST? I cannot comprehend why people are spending that much on a Dorman. They are uglier and don't flow as well as a FAST but cost almost as much. Now, when the Dorman first came out and the prices were reasonable and given that it works better than the stock intake it was a bargain, but not any more. Again, why would anyone buy one at this point?yeah, i don't get it. just buy a FAST if you're willing to spend that much?
not sure if it's dorman being jerks by limiting supply and keeping the price high or people just being dumb and thinking these intakes are gold.
LS2 intakes have gone up in price a lot, though. LS1 (non LS6) intakes as well. they used to be almost as worthless.

650 for an LS2 manifold? BRO WTF?I see one on ebay right now at $650 (brand new never installed) and there is another at $800 that includes injectors and a fuel rail (used). For that kind of money, spend more and get a FAST? But if you HAVE to have an OEM LS2 intake manifold, this would seem to be the way to go.

Brand new, don't have to worry about cracks or broken nipples or other damage. It was the only OEM one I found on ebay at the moment. Might be able to get a good used one for less. Could offer a more reasonable price to the person selling that new one.650 for an LS2 manifold? BRO WTF?
i can honestly get a dorman from rockauto for 800 bux. extra 150 for a new dorman? ok, i'd rather do that. an extra 300 bux will get me a new fast102 if i know where to look. Used fast? probably same price as this new LS2 intake.Brand new, don't have to worry about cracks or broken nipples or other damage. It was the only OEM one I found on ebay at the moment. Fast 102 works just fine on an 05/06 GTO. other than deleting the rear engine lift bracket (free), light clearance work on the top of the water pump if it isn't OE (free), and getting a MAP sensor extention harness if you're picky (like 20 bux. the stock harness will reach, though. you just need to take it out of the wire loom. it's still pretty tight, so i would recommend getting the extension harness.)I think you are all forgetting that a fast 102 is not a direct fit and you’ll end up spending hundreds more to make it work.
nope. same size throttle body opening on the intake. same 3-bolt patternThe ls1 and ls6 both have different sized throttle bodies
nope. same length injectors. Not to mention there is a difference between the lengths of the ls1 and ls6 injectors with the stock rails.
