Dealer has no more information other then they've been invoiced for it, they don't have it, and this is by FAR the longest they've ever waited after being invoiced.
Pontiac says (18002PONTIAC) that the car is built and shipped and my dealer will have more information on its arrival.
According to GM Records my car was shipped from Benecia on 12/3. Thats 14 days ago.
The two points are 2,935 driving miles apart (port to dealer). That means they are averaging at best 210 miles a day, or an average speed of 9 miles per hour (actually just under 9).
And mind you, I'm about as far from Benicia as possible. (Outside of Gaijin whose goat will be taken off the boat and put back on another one).
Whats really sad about this is they got here faster from Australia then they are going across the US.
I'm sorry, but when I bought into this car, I was told they'd be contacting us and keeping us up to date like never before, and frankly they are doing exactly that. But in the wrong direction.
We've had no info, or anything. Heck had they even thought of sending an e-mail saying "We see you live in Tampa, the car will be at the Tampa Auto Show" it would have been nice. But they didn't.
Now, a $33,000 asset can't be located? And I know I'm not the *only* one in that boat.
Blarg. I'm calling my dealer again now to find out.....
