once the gears have been worn in after they've started making noise, it can be too late.
it's best to have a fresh set of gears set up correctly to begin with.

Had mine rebuilt with new aussie gears (quiet gears) that I had rem polished and tru-trac..

does he run his own shop? i know he and CSP parted ways some time back...

I think he just does this kind of work on the side as he gets time after his primary job. That said, he just built and shipped a diff to me I should have it in a day or so. It took longer for the parts to get to him then it did for him to build it, clean it and ship it

I got hold of him through CSP.... CSP sends some of their diff work to him.
And he has several connections to get aussie gears and stuff a few bucks cheaper.
Currently he's rebuilding my camaro diff for the G8.
