It was pretty much the same, at the time my car was doing consistent 460-465 rwhp runs on our dyno. The new transmission felt great shifting though!
Very good to know, I never had the opportunity to do a before and after REM dyno.

My T56 is out being built and I had it cryo'd, with billet keys, and a 32 spline'd mainshaft with a 1350 yoke from a TH400 with a matching 32 spline'd coupling, but also passed on the rem polish. The builder told me that the main benefits to be had from rem polishing would be durability, and not power, and If I wanted to make more power, my efforts would be better focused on increasing the efficiency of my motor and snails.
I think $250 is cheap for just the durabilaty factor at 800+ with a 4k lb. package.

agreed, IMHO I think I'll break gears before anything else. We shall see. :)

This may be something to look into. I want my Transmission to be smoother. and for $250 it seems like a good idea.
A new transmission will be smoother without the micropolish. For $2700 (what I paid for the RPM level 5) you get quite a few upgrades that make your transmission smoother without the polish.

Gears

You can't go wrong with the coating, you posted the static differences and it's kinda there in black and white and I've used it in industrial applications and 250 is a good deal but as far as someone posting a 15 h.p. gain at the rear wheels I just can't see that. When it comes time to do mine I will be with you. Post your results when you get her in and good luck!!:popcorn2:
